Founded in 1949 by Maurice FRANCART and Jean EMRINGER, Francem specialises in the design and manufacture of moulded parts for general applications.
In 1970, the company developed a new process: extrusion, and steered its business towards the automotive sector (Marchal, Cibié, Seima).
With the business growing, CEO Michel FRANCART’s strategy was to move the company and build a new plant in 1983, increasing the size of the production plant from 400 to 10,000 sq. m of covered buildings over an area of 6 hectares, employing 145 people.
Francem designs, manufactures and markets mainly cellular and solid profiles for more than 80% of car manufacturers, for household domestic appliances, the construction industry and general industry
